Ink, Stamp, Share Showcase Blog Hop Image

Welcome to the Ink, Stamp and Share Showcase Blog Hop

This is my first Blog Hop with the lovely stampers in the Ink, Stamp and Share Facebook Group. For this Blog Hop I will be showing you the Ice Cream Thank You Cards I made for a Card Swap. You may have hopped over from Tracie or started straight away with me.

Finished Ice Cream Thank You Card and Matching Envelope

How to make the Ice Cream Thank You Cards

I started by cutting a 14.85cm x 10cm Basic White card base. Then I cut a 14.3cm x 10cm mat layer from Soft Succulent card stock. Next I used Soft Succulent ink and Craft White ink to stamp the dotty image all over the mat layer. I then stuck the mat layer onto the card base. I made a couple of extra ones to use on the front of the envelopes.

Stamped Mat Layer

Next I stamped the ice cream image onto Basic White card stock using Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia ink before punching them out using the matching punch. Then I stamped the sprinkles on top using Early Espresso, Gorgeous Grape and Pumpkin Pie Ink.

Stamped Ice Cream with Stamped Sprinkles

I stamped the Ice Cream Cones onto Basic White card stock using Crumb Cake and Early Espresso ink before punching them out.

Stamped Ice Cream Cones

I then stuck the ice creams onto the cones and stuck them onto the mat layer.

Next I cut four 7cm 3cm pieces of Evening Evergreen card stock and four 6.5 cm x 2.5cm pieces of Basic White card stock. On the Basic White card stock I stamped the Thank You sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink. Once dry I then stuck it onto the Evening Evergreen card stock and stuck one onto each card using Stampin’ Dimensional’s.

Finally to finish off the card I stuck 2 Rhinestone Basic Jewels onto each one.

How to make matching envelopes

I decided to make some matching envelopes using the other ice cream stamps onto the back of the envelope. I also stuck a strip of the stamped Soft Succulent mat layer to finish it off.
