Stamp 'n Hop Logo

Welcome to July’s Stamp ‘n’ Hop.

This month our theme is Favourite Designer Speciality Paper.  This fits in well with this month’s special offer from Stampin’ Up! which is buy 3 packs from the list and get another pack free.  I decided to order 4 different packs so I had plenty of choice to choose from.

I chose Garden Impressions as my favourite DSP.  These papers are very colourful and I can use them with my favourite colour Melon Mambo.

For this blog I decided to do a double spread scrapbook page.  I was looking through a box of photos to scrapbook and came across 3 photos of my daughter and niece.

Double Scrapbook Page

I started off with a Basic Black 12 x 12 page as I had some of this retired card stock left.  I then cut the pinker DSP into strips to make a back ground for the main photo.  The photo was mat layered using Melon Mambo card stock and Basic Black card stock.  I already knew I wanted Cousins as the title so I used the Large Letters Framelits and the Daisy punch.  I then used the Whisper White watercolour pencil to add a line to each pencil.

Again I started off with 12×12 Basic Black card stock.  This time I used the DSP off cuts from page 1 as the background. The photos were mat layered using Melon Mambo again but as I was laying the page out the photos moved so that they were at an angle so I decided to stick them down.  Flowers from the DSP were then fussy cut and stuck to the page using Stampin Dimensionals.  I then finished the page off with some journaling.

I hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog today and please do leave comments before you click on the Next button and visit Jacqui to see what her favourite DSP is.
