Welcome to July’s Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop.
This month’s theme is the following Scrapbook Sketch.
First I decided to start with a photo and work the rest of the page around that. I chose a photo of two of my cats when they were kittens.
Then I decided to use Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla card stock to make two of the square mat layers and Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock to make the other two square mat layers.
Next I stuck the photo onto one of the Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla squares. Once I had stamped two cats from the Pretty Kitty stamp set onto Very Vanilla card stock. I then stuck this onto one of the Crumb Cake and Soft Suede squares.
For the title I decided to try the NEW Lined Alphabet stamp set. The letters were stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock using Soft Suede ink and mat layered onto Soft Suede card stock.
As I thought the Very Vanilla page looked a little bland I used two strips cut from the Share What You Love DSP.
This then left me with two more mat layered squares to finish off. I used one to journal on and I decided to punch two black cat shadows using the Cat Punch.
To finish off the page I stamped Meow using the NEW Make a Difference stamp set.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my version of the scrapbook sketch. Please do leave comments before you clink on the next button to take you to Kimberley in the USA.

Aww…your kitties are so cute!
Thank you. My first choice for a pet is always a cat/kitten.
Such a fun lay-out with all the cats on it! Great way to use all SU cats available 😉
Thank you. I love how SU makes stamp sets that can go together. Need to do a page for my two dogs….. Bella and Friends will do nicely.
“Your gift for display was always evident!”

I enjoyed trying to follow a sketch for scrapbooking. I love how scrapbooking brings photos to life by giving them a lovely backdrop.
I love all the ‘meow’ stamps added. It really ties it all together
Its the first time I have used that stamp set. The meows turned out so well I will be using it again on my scrapbook pages.
Lovely layout, Cheryl. Those kitty’s are the cutest. Thank you for hopping with us.
They were my first kittens, sadly no longer with me but I do love looking at older photos and bringing them to life by scrapbooking.
Such a cute page Cheryl! Thanks so much for hopping with us this month!
Thank you, I do not often do a scrapbook sketch so was a little outside my comfort zone but thoroughly enjoyed doing it.
