Welcome to another Kre8tors Blog Hop
This month’s theme is SYMPATHY
This month’s theme is one most of us do not really want to think about.
For this blog hop I decided to design two cards using the same stamp set and same three colours. When I saw the Dandelion Wishes I immediately thought the dandelion seeds looked as if they were a spirit floating away.
Traditionally in Victorian England the widow would mourn for two and half years and would wear black. For the final six months they could wear purple. Having this in mind I chose to use Basic Black and Gorgeous Grape card stock.
For the first card I wanted to use white embossing powder for the dandelion head. This turned out far better than I expected.
For the second card I decided to mat the layers at a wonky angle and use Gorgeous Grape ink pad for the dandelion and sentiment.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my two cards. Please do leave comments as you hop through each blog.
