Welcome to the October Kre8tors Blog Hop.

Whether you have joined me from Trisha or just started this Blog Hop with me, you are sure to find some lovely projects.

This month’s theme is a colour challenge with a difference.  This month we have been given a photo and to use three of the following colours:  Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Gray Granite

For my project I decided to use the Pop of Petals stamp set and the Four Petal Flower punch.  I stamped the Soft Suede card base using the leaf from the Pop of Petals stamp set with soft Suede ink to give a background.

The sentiment is from the Rooted in Nature which was stamped in Gray Granite onto a Whisper White stitched circle.  This was mounted onto a Pumpkin Pie scalloped circle cut using the Layering Circles dies.  This was then mounted onto the base card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the three flowers I stamped 4 flowers in Real Red, 2 in Pumpkin Pie and 3 in Granny Apple Green for the leaves.  These were stuck together, moulded using the ball end of the Take Your Pick Tool and glued onto the base card.  A Basic Pearl Jewel was then added to the middle of each flower to finish off the card.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my project.  Please do leave comments as you hop around the blog hop.
